Fireseals solutions
Fireseal offers a complete range of fire sealing solutions for both new construction and retrofit in the merchant marine. Our products can be used for cables, pipes, bulkheads and decks – with A60 classification as standard. We have focused on developing products that meet the requirements for sealing despite ship movements, moisture and vibration, while making installation time and cost effective. Fireseal systems are designed for long life and minimal maintenance.
Certifications & tests
We work closely with classification societies and authorities to ensure full compliance:
- SOLAS and IMO FTP Code certifications, Fire resistance A-60/A-0 for cables and pipe penetrations.
- Type approvals from DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas, USCG etc.
- Water and gastightness
- Vibration testing and long-term exposure in the marine environment
